Kevin is just great! He is fun, easy going, organized and gets it done. We were in a crunch and needed to buy a house quick, moving from AZ to CO and he made us feel at ease from our very first conversation, throughout the entire experience. Kevin provided us multiple properties to look at on the Compass site, had a portfolio and map of our day and made it enjoyable despite the immense stress we had. We also had our little girls with us and he even acted as baby sitter in the houses so we could walk around and see the properties (not in his job description)… lol. We worked with Kevin Merlander of the "Kevin's". Let me start by saying we were jaded after my recent experience on the selling side with Coldwell Banker. We heard Zephyr was the way to go but interviewed agents from all companies (minus Coldwell). Zephyr is definitely better than Coldwell. Kevin was great because he was a "doer" and took initiative. We were not managing him. Kevin was helpful and ran around town for us. dropping off keys, having appointments with contractors, locating lost iPads and even dropping my son to his friends house with me. Not once was there an attitude or complaint. He also got us our home after our FIRST OFFER which is basically unheard of in San Francisco. He has some secret sauce here......he worked it for us. He is good at negotiations and likable at the same time. The Kevin's also got us lovely wine glasses with our last name on them with some yummy Pinot Noir (which is my favorite)! Thank you Kevins! We will definitely recommend you to our friends. It was just icing on the cake or a cherry on top! They rock!

I cannot recommend Kevin Merlander enough - he's amazing! The most impressive thing about Kevin is his willingness to do whatever it takes at any hour of the day to help you close on the house of your dreams. Kevin helped me buy a beautiful condo in South Beach, San Francisco. Throughout the process, he was extremely responsive, efficient, detail-oriented, creative and willing to go above and beyond to find what I was looking for. I was looking for a condo on a very restrictive time horizon in a very specific neighborhood with very specific requirements for the type of unit. When we couldn't find an ideal unit immediately, Kevin reached out to all of the listing agents in the area to flush out any off-market units. When we did find something that I liked, Kevin helped me to pull together an extremely fast bid to get ahead of the market before more people could see the unit. Kevin is extremely knowledgeable about the market, including what to expect for final price and even understanding the strengths and weaknesses of particular buildings and units within those buildings. This knowledge is extremely helpful in a market where more information gives you a needed leg up on the competition. Beyond the buying process itself, Kevin is extremely helpful and just an all-around great person. He's managed so many of the stressful parts of the purchase process and moving process that go beyond his job description. He's helped me to deal with the HOA, provided recommendations for services that can help, and even helped get me packing supplies for my move. Kevin & Kevin were very knowledgeable of the neighborhoods we wanted to buy in, very professional and most importantly responded to you in a timely manner especially in those stressful moments while waiting for the loan approval where you just want to know what's going on... They were very courteous and not pushy to make a sale. They will tour with you first to look at places so they can see for themselves your reactions to what you like or dislike in a place so when you get a list of places to look at there will be no waste of time looking at places you're not interested. As a first-time buyer in the USA, I expected the process to be convoluted and trying. I did not have a realtor, and was simply attending open homes fairly randomly. We worked with Kevin on the soup-to-nuts process of buying a home in Denver, while living on the east coast. In early February, Kevin graciously fielded a phone call along the lines of: "We are happy on the east coast, but are toying with the idea of a family-driven move to Denver. I’ve known and relied on Kevin Koerner for years when it comes to real estate in the Bay Area. The “Kevins” are an excellent team and when it came time to sell my home in San Francisco, I was completely impressed with the market analysis, knowledge and foresight they provided in listing my home. You can completely trust their expertise and guidance. They were spot on in what my house was worth, how to package it and what it would sell for. They reigned us in on what “renovations” we thought would be needed to get the highest price for our home. In the end, our house sold for the highest price per square foot for the Westwood Park neighborhood. They took care of all the details and made it a stress free experience. Shortly thereafter, we used the Kevins again to purchase a condo. Once again, their guidance and expertise were invaluable. They counseled us on which properties were a good deal, and which we should steer away from. They advised against making an offer on a particular condo because they did not feel it was a “solid” building. Sure enough, the condo complex they advised us against later ended up in litigation issues. They found us a condo in South Beach, managed the negotiations and got our offer accepted, and we couldn’t be happier. I whole heartedly endorse and recommend the Kevins.
